"Been sitting on this one for a while. Last summer I impulsively started working on this project with the intention of releasing it before the fall. I did this because I find I often don’t finish majority of things I work with the exception of projects with deadlines. The goal was make a bunch of beats in a short period of time, get friends to put vocals on them, put it out before the summer is over. I completed all these steps within a couple of weeks and then put it on the back burner and didn’t think of it (lol). Honestly I probably wouldn’t have even put it out besides the fact that Albert was constantly asking me about it. So here we are, a year later and I’m finally putting out this album. “Another Downtown Summer” is a collection of beats I produced stacked up with some features from some close friend and some new friends. I’d like to thank @ultra__far for letting me steal her lyrics for the album title and letting me sample her as well. I’d like to thank @albertdalton19 for all his vocals, mixing and mastering work.
